The mission and objective of this organization is to provide children of all nationalities the opportunity to learn to play and appreciate mariachi music. This will be accomplished through a highly sensitive, formal program which will develop their musical skills. Included in the formatted program is the ability to read music, play different musical instruments, and develop vocal skills as well as performance skills.
This program will assist in promoting cultural awareness and a deeper understanding of all aspects of the Hispanic heritage. This will be accomplished by developing their appreciation and love for Hispanic music.
Ultimately, these young people will develop a strong appreciation for mariachi music and enhance their knowledge of historical facts and artistic growth which is not taught through our present educational system.

The educational goal is intermixed with their cultural awareness together with the development of their music instrument skills which will in turn enhance their scholastic aptitude. Upon completion of this program, they will be able to play three to four instruments. This will greatly enhance their qualifications to obtain scholarships for different universities and other institutes of higher learning. This organization has already seen the product of its efforts in youngsters that are presently performing on a professional level, including international recording contracts, for example, Mariachi Campanas de America, Los Caporales, Sol de Mexico and Los Camperos de Nati Cano, have several key players that originated through the efforts of Mariachi Infantil.
